Russia sure has many beautiful places

We had a wonderful trip! Russia sure has many beautiful places. We liked all that were on the itin.

The guides were good, especially the two on the Golden Triangle tour, as well as the guide in St. Petersburg who was very knowledgeable and very considerate for the group. We had a little trouble with the guide in Moscow, who was knowledgeable enough but didn't try to do much beyond what was on the list, no prior warnings about time allowed, where to meet up again, and sometimes we had to ask to make sure.

It was also unfortunate that the day we were to visit the Kremlin, it was the annual Moscow Day and the President was scheduled to appear there and so we were blocked off from the area and missed most of the site.

The hotels were generally good. Just one complaint: the hotel in Moscow was very nice and convenient but the bed was very lumpy and we had trouble sleeping.

Overall, we enjoyed the trip and we would recommend to others too.
