We just came back from Russia a few days ago, and I just wanted to say thank you so much for organizing it and helping me every step of the way! Best cruise ever!

Polla and I very much enjoyed our tour of Moscow and St Petersburg sites. The local arrangements went very well and all personnel we dealt with were friendly, informative and punctual.

The drivers in both cities were courteous and always on time. The guide in Moscow was especially friendly, extremely knowledgeable and communicative at all times.

The tour of Russia was itself amazing. We saw many things yet the pace was nice and relaxing. The Kremlin, Red Square, the Church of our Saviour in Moscow, and yes the subway stations (!), Suzdal, the Trinity Lavra, the Hermitage (it does make Versailles look like a cottage!), the boat ride on the canals, St Isaac's, the list goes on. We enjoyed every minute.

It was a wonderful holiday -- among the very best that I've ever had. Everything was first rate. Great accommodations, the boat was excellent (accommodations, meals, service, onboard activities and port activities). I'm now considering one of the rail tours but will likely wait a bit before doing that.

We had a great time and now I am planning train trip across Russia to Siberia and Mongolia

We were totally thrilled with our trip on the Trans-Siberian Railway!

The trains were clean, comfortable and always on time.

The hotels, though varied, were always welcoming and attractive.
The restaurants, for the most part, served us well.

Our guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Once a guide could not join us because of a medical problem, and the next day another guide took us to two days' sites in one day.

We've experienced a lot on our MS Rostropovich River Cruise. To name a few, people, culture, arts, history, weather, lakes, canals, food, languages. We still talk about the trip to people we know and even just ourselves.

Due to the storm, we missed Goritsi and Uglich. What a pity! We were compensated for a free Moscow night and Metro ride. But I wish to have spent more time close enough to Russian country side. That night the ship went through the storm and arrived in Kizhi safely next morning. Great job! By the way the crew of the ship was a great team.

First of all. I LOVED the Treasures of Two Capitals tour!!! I LOVE Russia and am going to plan to take my family back on another tour in the near future… I promised them to visit family friends in South Africa first but I am going to start saving for our next Russian adventure in a few years!!!

I have some “tips” for future travellers adapting to the ways of the Russian culture that will make the experience all the more enjoyable.
